All students anticipating completing a degree from the School of Business & Economics at IU Northwest must submit a Graduation Application prior to graduation. Submission of this form does not guarantee graduation but is a necessary step to begin the degree verification process. Failure to submit this form by the deadlines shown below may delay graduation and/or result in the student’s name not appearing on the commencement program.
Graduation Application Deadlines
To ensure the degree verification process can be completed in time for graduation, please complete the Graduation Application by the following dates:
- For an anticipated graduation of the Fall (December) term, please submit your Graduation Application by the preceding July 1st.
- For an anticipated graduation of the Spring (May) or Summer (August) term, please submit your Graduation Application by the preceding October 15th.
The commencement ceremony at IU Northwest is held once each year in May. Commencement is intended to recognize graduates from the previous December, current May and upcoming August. For additional information about commencement, please refer to IU Northwest Commencement page.
