What is RedHawks Rising?
RedHawks Rising is your required New Student Orientation, and it’s where your IU Northwest journey really begins. You should already be enrolled in classes to attend RedHawks Rising. If you haven’t enrolled in classes, do not worry! Click here for more information about enrolling in classes.
This is your chance to:
- Meet other future RedHawks (yes—your people are here)
- Start building real connections and community
- Learn what college life at IU Northwest is actually like
- Get the info you need to feel confident walking into your first semester
- Take the step you need before classes start on August 24th, 2026
